TAYLOR, TX – A pickup truck and semi-truck crash left a 26-year-old man dead Wednesday in Taylor, KXAN reported.Â
The collision occurred before 6:30 am at Chandler Road and County Road 101.Â
The 26-year-old man traveling in a black GMC pickup truck declined to stop at the stop sign. As a result, he hit a semi-truck, fuel came out of the vehicle, and crews cleaned up the chemicals.Â
Police identified the man as Mario David Salinas Rodriguez.Â
Rodriguez succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Â
It is unclear if the semi-truck driver was injured and if impairment played a role in the crash.Â
