Collision reported on N Capital of Texas Hwy in NW Austin

AUSTIN, TX – Austin Police responded to a vehicle crash early Thursday afternoon on the North Capital of Texas Highway in the city’s northwest corner, according to the Austin-Travis County Traffic Report Page.

The wreck occurred between near the intersections with Wallace and Lakewood drives, just west of Bull Creek District Park. It was first reported to police dispatchers at 1:21 p.m.

Little information has been made available, but the officials listed the incident as “Crash Urgent,” indicating likely minor injuries. The classification is also used to signal a crash scene that has since been moved to the shoulder or a secondary location, and is no longer blocking traffic.
