Austin Fire Department, who was also on-site, said they were able to successfully extricate the adult, who was pinned inside their vehicle. After fire crews extricated that adult, paramedics issued them a trauma alert before sending them to the hospital for treatment of critical, life-threatening injuries.
First responders said the two children suffered minor wounds and also mentioned three other individuals were involved in the crash. However, the three people involved declined to be taken to a hospital.
