News: 1 child, 2 adults hospitalized following crash along Grata’s Pizzeria 

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – One child and two adults were taken to local hospitals following a crash that occurred outside Grata’s Pizzeria on Sunday, CBS Austin said. 

The collision happened before 10 p.m. on the 2700th block of South Lamar Boulevard. The impact of the crash left the child with critical injuries, one adult with serious injuries, and another adult with minor injuries. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services transported the child to Dell Children’s Medical and the two aforementioned adults to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center for treatment. 

Officials confirmed a fourth adult was injured, but did not need to be taken to the hospital. 

At the time of the reporting, police said they were going to close the southbound lanes to accommodate the scene clean-up process. 

No citations or charges were reported at this time.
