AUSTIN, TX – One person was left in critical condition, and two others sustained serious injuries as a result of a head-on crash in Highland Park Friday, Fox 7 Austin said.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said the collision happened before 6 p.m. in the 4300th block of Bonnell Road, north of Covert Park. The impact left at least one pinned or entrapped and required extrication by fire rescue crews.

Officials shut down the area for at least two hours to accommodate the scene clearance.
