EAST AUSTIN, TX – One person who was pinned inside their vehicle was extricated by Austin fire crews prior to being taken to a hospital in critical condition after a solo crash Sunday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services and the Austin Fire Department received a call around 6:45 p.m. and were summoned to the intersection of East 7th Street and Comal Street, which is west of Huston-Tillotson University. First responders said the occupant was issued a trauma alert and is recovering at Dell Seton Medical Center.
