News: 1 critically hurt in South Lamar pin-in wreck with extrication 

AUSTIN, TX – One person was pinned, extricated by fire crews, and then taken to hospital for critical, life-threatening wounds following a two-auto crash in South Lamar Tuesday. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said this collision happened at Barton Skyway and South Lamar Boulevard, indicating they arrived at the scene before 7:30 p.m.

After arriving, an ambulance rushed the patient to St David’s South Medical Center. On route, they lost some pulses but regained pulses. 

Officials have not disclosed the events leading up to this crash or specified other details at this time.
