News: 1 critically injured in pedestrian collision on McAngus Rd in Del Valle

TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – One person was hospitalized with critical injuries on New Year’s Day following a pedestrian collision near State Highway 130 in Del Valle, according to FOX 7 Austin.

The incident occurred in the 1000 block of McAngus Road, near a span of SH-130 that runs from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Circuit of the Americas. Austin-Travis County EMS crews responded to the scene at about 8:33 p.m.

While officials have not released a statement indicating a sequence of events, the adult victim was administered CPR and then prepped to be airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center, where they were listed in critical condition.
