News: 1 dead, 3 hospitalized following two-vehicle collision on Loyola Lane in Austin  

AUSTIN, TX – One person died, and three juveniles were transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision on the 7106th block of Loyola Lane on Wednesday.

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services first announced the crash at 7:14 a.m. The impact of the collision caused one person to become pinned inside.

1/2 LATE FINAL Vehicle Rescue at 7106 Loyola Ln (07:14) #ATCEMS was called for a reported 2 vehicle collision involving 4 patients, w/1 pinned in and unconscious. That patient was extricated & CPR was performed but ultimately unsuccessful & the patient was pronounced deceased.

Fire crews extricated the pinned individual, and ATCEMS conducted CPR on them. Despite their best efforts, the patient succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

One teenager and two children were transported to Dell Children’s Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
