News: 1 dead, 4 hospitalized after pin-in crash near Decker Lake 

AUSTIN, TX – One person passed away, and four people were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center following a pin-in collision south of Decker Lake Wednesday. 

This crash occurred between the 12400th and 13117th blocks of FM 969 Road. Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services, the Austin Fire Department, and Travis County Emergency Services District 12 said they arrived at the scene before 7 a.m.

First responders said one person was found unconscious and was given CPR by paramedics. Despite the medics’ best efforts, the pinned occupant succumbed to fatal wounds. 

The four passengers were treated for non-life-threatening wounds. 

As it stands, officials have not provided a formal statement regarding the exact cause of this crash, nor have they released the victim’s name.
