News: 1 extricated, hospitalized after rollover wreck in South Austin 

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – Austin fire crews had to extricate a person from their overturned vehicle after a collision, prior to them being sent to a hospital for serious wounds Wednesday.

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services and the Austin Fire Department were summoned to the 10000th block of South Interstate Highway 35 near Alice Mae Lane and arrived after 4:15 p.m.

First responders said the victim was sent to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, where they are recovering.

No other vehicles or injuries were reported.
