TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Lake Travis Fire Rescue extricated a pinned occupant from an overturned cement truck prior to them being taken to a hospital Wednesday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said this single rollover collision occurred between the 528 to 746 block of Highlands Boulevard. ATCEMS and Lake Travis fire crews arrived at the scene before 4 p.m.

After the extrication was completed, an ambulance driver took the passenger to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment of injuries deemed potentially serious and non-life-threatening.
Officials have not specified if the pinned and extricated person was the driver or passenger. In addition, they have also not confirmed the events leading up to this collision.
