AUSTIN, TX – One person was hospitalized for minor injuries following a rollover crash on U.S. 183 on Wednesday.
Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services told CBS Austin that the collision occurred before 9 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the highway near Braker Lane.
EMS only reported one injured individual, saying they transported the patient to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities closed two left lanes, which included the express lane, for the scene-cleanup process and left one lane and shoulder open to accommodate the flow of traffic.
During the shutdowns, officials informed drivers of delays and likely urged them to avoid the area or seek alternative routes.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
