AUSTIN, TX – One person was pinned and extricated by medics and then hospitalized after a pin-in crash on Bastrop Highway.
The collision occurred on the westbound lanes of the 1513 block of East State Highway 71 before 2:30 a.m Thursday., ATCEMS tweeted.

The pinned person sustained severe injuries and was taken to St David’s South Austin Medical Center.
