AUSTIN, TX – One was hospitalized after a fiery crash involving a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler Thursday.
The collision occurred near East Riverside Drive on the southbound lanes of I-35, according to CBS Austin.
For reasons unclear, a pickup truck driver lost control of the vehicle and collided into the back of a semi-truck. As a result, the pickup truck caught fire, and the driver was trapped inside the vehicle. He or she was then extricated by medics and then transported to Dell Seton Medical Center for serious injuries.
