News: 1 in critical condition, 4 seriously hurt in Oak Hill crash

AUSTIN, TX – One person was left in critical condition, and four others were seriously injured in a crash that happened in the Oak Hill area Monday.

Austin Travis County EMS first reported the collision at 12:44 p.m. on the 5200th block of westbound Texas 71. Medics were joined by Travis County Fire Rescue, STAR Flight, and Austin fire crews. Firefighters had to extricate at least one person trapped inside their vehicle.

After the extrication was complete, STAR Flight transported all of the occupants to separate hospitals.
