News: 1 in critical condition after South Lamar pin-in crash

AUSTIN, TX – One person was sent to the hospital after a pin-in crash on the 3200 block of Menchaca Road Tuesday. 

ATCEMS responded to the scene before 1:45 a.m. First responders were able to extricate the trapped person from the vehicle. 

Motor Vehicle Collision at 3204 Menchaca Rd (01:38). #ATCEMS & @AustinFireInfo are on scene of a reported collision involving 2 vehicles with 1 patient who is trapped in their vehicle. The victim was then transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with critical-life-threatening injuries. 

There was another vehicle and person involved in the collision, but it appears this occupant was unharmed.
