News: 1 injured, 2 critically in rollover wreck along AUS Airport 

AUSTIN, TX – When two vehicles collided along Austin-Bergstrom International (AUS) Airport, it led one to overturn, leaving two people in critical condition and injuring one person Friday. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said this collision took place before 4:45 p.m. in the 4200 block of eastbound TX 71. They confirmed three ATCEMS ambulances and a commander and physician assistant were all summoned to the scene.

Upon arrival, authorities shut down all of the eastbound directions and issued a trauma alert for the two occupants. 

The two passengers who sustained critical life-threatening wounds were sent to St. David’s South Medical Center for treatment, while the other occupant, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center. 

Officials started an investigation but do not have additional information available at this time.
