News: 1 injured in crash in South Austin’s Garrison Park 

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – One person was injured in a crash that took place in the Garrison Park neighborhood in South Austin on Monday.

Austin police were dispatched to the intersection of Menchaca Road and West Stassney Lane and pulled up to the scene after 6:30 p.m., according to the Austin-Travis County Traffic Report Page.

Officers reported minor injuries, but did not specify whether anyone needed to go to the hospital.

Police have not announced any lane closures. However, drivers are encouraged to reduce their speed, seek alternative routes, or avoid the area as crews clean up debris from the crash.
