AUSTIN, TX – One person’s life was claimed, and another was sent to an area hospital following a crash between a semi-truck and vehicle near Decker Lake Sunday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Services said this crash happened before 10:30 a.m. on the 11000 block of FM 969 Road.

The occupant who passed away was declared dead at the scene, while the other occupant was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment of potentially serious injuries.
The Austin Fire Department was also called to the scene. At this time, officials have not disclosed the events leading up to this crash or released the name, gender, and identity of the person who succumbed to fatal wounds.
