AUSTIN, TX – One person lost their life, and another was seriously injured in a collision that happened southwest of Decker Lake Monday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services arrived at the intersection of FM 969 and Decker Lane before 5:15 a.m. Medics declared one person dead at the scene. Fire crews had to extricate an occupant pinned inside their vehicle prior to transporting one passenger to a Travis County hospital.
It’s unclear if it was the pinned individual who was hospitalized. In addition, officials did not release more details regarding Monday’s wreck or publically announce the victim’s name.
