HUTTO, TX – One person was killed, and three were hospitalized after a crash involving a semi-truck on Monday, Fox7Austin said.
The collision occurred before 1 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 130 and Chandler Road. Preliminary details show a driver of an Audi SUV tried to turn left and crashed into a semi-truck with a trailer.
The truck driver drove off the Chandler Road overpass and landed on SH 130 and died from his injuries at the scene.
The Audi driver and their passengers, two children, were hospitalized for unspecified injuries.
Authorities closed the southbound lanes of the highway to accommodate the on-scene clean-up process.
No lane closures have been reported at this time.
