News: 1 killed, 3 hospitalized after two-vehicle crash in Pflugerville  

PFLUGERVILLE, TX – One person was killed, and three others were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash that happened near Lake Pflugerville Friday.

The collision took place at the 2000th block of South State Highway 130 North and warranted a response from Austin Travis County Medical Emergency Services, who arrived at the accident scene before 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officials declared one person dead at the scene.

Austin fire crews were also called to the scene and discovered that two people were pinned inside an overturned car. Firefighters conducted the extrication, and ATCEMS transported the three surviving occupants — the two who were extricated and the non-extricated individual — to local trauma centers.

Two of the surviving people are recovering from injuries deemed potentially serious, and one is recovering from critical, life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not specified the exact cause of the crash or released the victim’s names. Updates will be added after our team learns more.
