AUSTIN, TX – One person’s life was claimed in a pin-in crash reported on the S Capital Texas Highway along Barton Creek Wilderness Park Thursday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Services were called to the scene (reported on between the 2430 to 2728 blocks on the highway) before 12:45 p.m.

The pinned occupant was extricated. Following the extrication, one person succumbed to fatal wounds at the crash site.
The two other passengers declined transportation to an area hospital. Officials did not specify the severity of the wounds they sustained nor clarified if it was the pinned person who passed away.
Additional information, including the name of the deceased individual, will be provided when details become publicly available.
