AUSTIN, TX – One person died as a result of a vehicle collision that happened outside of Donn’s BBQ on Thursday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services reported the crash at 2:17 p.m., saying it happened at the intersection of FM 969 and Imperial Drive.
Vehicle Rescue Fm 969/Imperial Drive #atcems @austinfiredept and @STAR_Flight_TC on scene with cpr in progress on an adult patient. 1 additional patient is being transported to Dell Seton MC by Starflight with critical injuries. MTF

ATCEMS conducted CPR on one person, who unfortunately died from their injuries at the scene.
STAR Flight was also called to the scene and transported another person to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
