JONESTOWN, TX – One life was claimed, and another was critically hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened in Jonestown on Monday

According to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, the crash occurred before noon at the intersection of FM 1431 and Pecan Drive. ATCEMS said they declared an adult dead at the scene, and STARFlight rushed another person to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center for treatment of critical injuries.

The cause of the collision has not been made immediately clear.
