AUSTIN, TX – One person died in a collision in Austin’s Hyde Park area on Wednesday, according to FOX7Austin.

Police said the crash happened on the 4700th block of 45th Street, specifically on the northbound lanes, and involved either a pedestrian or a scooter.

Authorities shut down the area for several hours before reopening all lanes around 10 a.m.
