AUSTIN, TX – One person’s life was claimed in a single-vehicle collision near the Colorado River Park on Saturday, CBS Austin reports.
The crash happened before 5:30 a.m. in the vicinity of the Bastrop Highway Service Road and Montopolis Drive.
Officials closed the area before reopening all lanes around 8 a.m.
Austin police are actively working to determine the events leading up to the crash and have not released the victim’s name at this time.
