SOUTHEAST AUSTIN, TX – One person passed away, and some occupants sustained minor wounds in a crash in the Colton community Wednesday.
Austin Travis County EMS, Travis County Fire Rescue, and STAR Flight arrived at the intersection of southbound U.S. 183 and McKenzie Road before 2 p.m.

At least one person got either pinned or entrapped inside their vehicle and was extricated by fire crews.
Medics confirmed that they conducted CPR on one person. Unfortunately, that individual succumbed to their injuries. First responders did not specify if the surviving occupants were sent to area hospitals.
