News: 1 seriously hurt in crash with extrication in East MLK  

AUSTIN, TX – One driver suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash that left them pinned or entrapped, requiring extrication Sunday. 

According to Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services, this collision was reported before 1:30 a.m. in the 3000 block of Ed Bluestein Service Road South.

Austin Fire Rescue, who also responded to the scene, was able to successfully extricate the driver, the sole occupant of their vehicle. After the extrication, an ambulance then transported the person to Dell Seton Medical Center, where they are recovering. 

First responders have not revealed the events leading up to Sunday’s collision.
