After the two vehicles — a red and white car — collided, the white car eventually came to rest in a wooded area, and its tires and at least one door were removed, while the red’s front bumper was completely torn off.
First responders said the impact of this wreck caused the child to be ejected from the vehicle and sustain critical, life-threatening wounds as a result.
The minor, along with one other adult (who was suffered “potentially serious injuries”) were both issued trauma alerts and taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center, while the other adult was sent to St. David’s South Austin for minor wounds.
Officials started an investigation and have not released other information at this time.
Being involved in a car accident is something that happens unexpectedly and within minutes. While the time frame of the crash is short, the aftermath is a rather tedious one. Suddenly, one medical bill or physical therapy bill can turn into several, and your physical pain can prevent you from working, leaving you with no choice but to take time off from work, leading to a significant loss of income. If you are going through these hardships as a result of a collision that was caused by another driver, start considering legal aid from TK Injury Lawyers. Our Austin car accident lawyer can not only help you file your claim in a timely manner, but they will go the extra mile to advocate for your right to full and fair compensation, even if it means taking your claim-turned-case to court.
