AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained minor wounds, and another person lost their life in a two-vehicle collision reported before 7 a.m. Monday near the Hays community.
This crash happened in the 13318 block of State Highway 45 West, and the impact resulted in one person getting pinned inside their vehicle, Austin Travis County Emergency Services confirmed.
First responders did not reveal what kind of extrication methods were used to remove the pinned occupant, nor confirmed if the pinned person was the occupant who passed away or sustained minor wounds.
Authorities have launched an investigation but have not provided more details at this time.
