SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – Two people were pinned inside their vehicle, extricated, and then taken to an area hospital following a crash in the Manchaca community Monday.
This collision happened before 4 p.m. in the 1800 block of westbound FM 1626 Road, according to an X post from Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
Vehicle Rescue at 1800 W Fm 1626 Rd (15:39). #ATCEMS, @AustinFireInfo & ESD 5 are on scene of a collision involving one vehicle with 2 patients pinned inside. The two adults are receiving treatment for injuries deemed potentially serious but non-life-threatening at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.
First responders did not specify the exact cause of this collision.
