News: 2 hospitalized after NW Austin rollover wreck with extrication 

NORTHWEST AUSTIN, TX – One person, who was either pinned or entrapped inside their car after it overturned, was extricated and then, along with one other person, taken to a hospital. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said this collision happened before 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Dessau Road and Brighton Lane intersection.

Upon arrival, paramedics said the extricated occupant was unconscious and then given on-site medical attention before being sent to Dell Seton Medical Center with the other passenger. 

At this time, the extricated person is recovering from critical, life-threatening injuries, while the second individual is healing from non-life-threatening wounds. 

City and county authorities have not commented on the events leading to this crash. If new information becomes available, updates will be made to this newsblog.
