News: 2 hospitalized after overturned car hits phone pole in SE Austin 

AUSTIN, TX – An ATCEMS ambulance took two people to local hospitals after their car overturned and hit a telephone pole Thursday. 

CBS Austin and the Austin Fire Department said this collision happened on the Bastrop Highway Service Road connecting to the Hergotz Lane and Thompson Lane off-ramp. 

The Austin Police Department, who also responded to the scene, said they closed all northbound lanes on the highway and told travelers in the area to seek alternative routes amid the scene clearance and investigation procedure.
