News: 2 hospitalized after pin-in crash in West Oak Hill 

AUSTIN, TX – Two people were hospitalized after a pin-in crash that happened in West Oak Hill Tuesday afternoon.

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the 5074th block of West U.S. 290 Highway Service Road and pulled up to the scene at 3 p.m. Austin fire crews arrived at the scene a short time later, and said someone was pinned inside their vehicle after colliding with a second vehicle.

Fire crews extricated the pinned person. After the extrication, ATCEMS rushed the two injured individuals to St. David’s South Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. 

Officials have not disclosed the exact events that led to the crash.
