News: 2 hospitalized after two-vehicle collision along AUS Airport 

DEL VALLE, TX – Two people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision that occurred outside of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Sunday.

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services first announced the crash at 4:47 p.m., saying it happened between the 3900th and 4331st block of South FM 973 Road. Upon arrival, Austin fire crews and Travis County Fire Rescue discovered that two people were pinned underneath their vehicles. Fire crews extricated the two occupants, and ATCEMS transported them to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.

One person received treatment for serious injuries, and the other for minor injuries.
