NORTHWEST AUSTIN, TX – Two people sustained minor injuries, and another was left in serious condition after a multi-vehicle wreck reported before 3 p.m.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services and the Austin Fire Department responded to the three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Riata Trace Parkway and Research Boulevard. After arriving, fire crews had to extricate one person who was pinned inside their vehicle. Once the extrication was complete, firefighters then transported the extricated individual to St. David’s Round Rock for treatment of serious injuries.

It’s unclear if the two other occupants, who suffered minor injuries, had to go to the hospital.
