News: 2 killed in semi vs. car crash on SH 71 in Del Valle 

DEL VALLE, TX – Two people were killed when a semi and a passenger vehicle collided in the 5160 block of East State Highway 71 Monday night. 

According to ATCEMS, the fatal accident occurred in the westbound lanes at around 11 p.m. Emergency responders extricated two people who had become pinned inside their vehicle. Despite paramedics’ efforts, the victims succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.

It appears a third may have sustained minor injuries, as they declined to be taken to a hospital.
