AUSTIN, TX – Two people’s lives were claimed in a solo collision on the 8648th block of southbound Research Boulevard in the Crestview district Thursday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services and the Austin Fire Department arrived at the scene before 5:15 p.m. and confirmed the two occupants of the vehicle succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.

Law enforcement, who were also dispatched to the area, have not specified the events that led to this wreck nor released the individuals’ names at this time.
