News: 3 adults, 1 child hospitalized after multi-vehicle collision near Cedar Valley

AUSTIN, TX – Three adults and one child were transported to local hospitals following a multi-vehicle collision near Cedar Valley overnight.

Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services reported the crash at 12:24 a.m., saying it involved a tractor-trailer and two other vehicles.

ATCEMS crews transported three adults to Dell Seton Medical Center and the child to Dell Children’s Hospital.

Two adults and the child are recovering from critical, life-threatening injuries, and a third adult is recovering from potentially serious injuries.

Authorities said a fifth person was injured, but declined to be taken to a hospital.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
