Emergency crews indicated they arrived at the crash site before 2:30 a.m. and said three people gave into fatal injuries at the scene.
Fire crews said they were able to extricate an entrapped person from their vehicle, and first responders issued them a trauma alert before STAR Flight flew them to Dell Seton Medical Center, where they are currently listed in critical condition.
In addition, the three other passengers were sent via three ambulance vehicles to St. David’s South Medical Center for treatment of non-life treating wounds. A 7th occupant was involved, but officials did not specify their current physical condition.
The circumstances behind Saturday’s wreck remain unclear. Updates, including the names of the deceased individuals, will be provided as officials confirm more information.
