News: 3 seriously hurt in multi-vehicle crash with semi in Georgetown 

GEORGETOWN, TX – Three people were left in serious condition after a collision between a tractor-trailer and six other vehicles on IH-35 South Wednesday.

The crash happened before 3 a.m. and resulted in a several-hour shutdown on the southbound lanes, according to Georgetown Police. Crews cleared the scene before 2 p.m., and EMS responders transported the two injured individuals to a hospital.

First responders are working a crash involving an 18-wheeler and 6 vehicles on southbound IH 35 near the 257-mile marker. All southbound lanes are closed at this time. Please seek an alternate route. We do not currently have an ETA for the roadway being cleared. pic.twitter.com/inF9Eku3G6
