News: 3-vehicle wreck in NW Austin seriously injures 6 

NORTHWEST AUSTIN, TX – Out of seven occupants, ambulances took six people to area hospitals for treatment of serious injuries following a three-vehicle collision Saturday. 

This incident was reported before 2 a.m. in the 8500 block of Cameron Road along Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, and five ambulances were summoned to the scene, Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services revealed in an X (formerly known as Twitter) post.

An ATCEMS photo indicates that the impact of this crash led two vehicles, a dark gray sedan and a four-door white car, to sustain significant front-end damage, and commentary from the Austin Fire Department and ATCEMS revealed that two, who were issued trauma alerts, were left in critical and serious condition and sent to Dell Seton Medical Center.

Additional details also show that two others were transported to Round Rock Hospital and two to Dell Seton Medical Center. 

At this time, officials have not shared the circumstances that led to Saturday’s wreck nor specified if the 6th person at least sustained minor wounds.
