AUSTIN, TX – A multi-vehicle collision on I-35 south of Pflugerville caused a tanker truck to overturn and spill diesel across the roadway on Saturday night, CBS Austin reports.
Four vehicles collided in the northbound lanes ahead of Grand Avenue Parkway at about 8:15 p.m. on August 8.
The initial response was handled by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office. The Texas Department of Transportation had to send Hazmat crews to clean the massive spill, which closed the highway’s northbound lanes for some time.
We do not know whether anyone was injured in the crash at this time.
