News: 4 hospitalized after 2-vehicle wreck in Cedar Valley 

CEDAR VALLEY, TX – Four people were sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that resulted in one person getting pinned inside their vehicle Monday. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Services, Austin, and Oak Hill fire crews responded to the scene — the 10408 block of westbound U.S. 290 Highway — before 1 p.m. The pinned person was extricated and was being prepared for transportation.

ATCEMS said one person was seriously injured and sent to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, and another sustained critical, life-threatening injuries and was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center. 

Two others sustained minor wounds and were taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. 

The exact cause of this collision is under investigation, and no additional information was revealed at this time.
