DEL VALLE, TX – Four people were sent to area hospitals after a two-vehicle collision that caused one car to catch on fire before 6 p.m. Sunday.
According to ATCEMS, this crash took place on the 15200 block of Pearce Lane. At least one occupant was trapped or pinned and extricated. The vehicle that caught fire had its flames extinguished.

One person sustained potentially serious injuries and another suffered critical, life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center.
The two other occupants were transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center for minor and potentially serious injuries.
