AUSTIN, TX – A major collision in east Austin on Tuesday night sent five people to the hospital.
According to CBS Austin, the crash took place shortly after 8 p.m. in the 6400 block of FM-969, east of the 183 Toll Road.

A total of five people were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center; two victims with non-life-threatening injuries, and three victims with serious injuries.
The events leading up to the collision are unclear at this time. However, first responders say at least four vehicles were involved.
