AUSTIN, TX – Five people were transported by Austin Travis County EMS to area hospitals following a crash at AUS Airport reported before 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
ATCEMS confirmed that one person was left in critical condition and another in serious condition, while three other occupants sustained minor wounds.

The two passengers who sustained more significant injuries were sent to St. David’s South Medical Center, and the three others to Dell Seton Medical Center.
Authorities closed the intersection of Texas 71 and Presidential Boulevard before 1:45 p.m. and reopened the area after 3 p.m.
The exact cause of the wreck is under investigation.
