News: 6 hospitalized after extrication crash near Bauerle Ranch Park

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – Three children and three adults were transported to area hospitals after a crash with extrication near Bauerle Ranch Park Saturday. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services announced this collision at 12:52 a.m., and said fire crews extricated one person. Once that individual was freed from their vehicle, an ambulance then took them to St. David’s South Austin Hospital, where they are recovering from injuries deemed serious, but non-life-threatening.

The two other adults were also taken to St. David’s, where one is listed in critical condition, while the other suffered minor wounds. 

As for the children, they are sent to Dell Children’s Medical Center. One minor is recovering from serious injuries, and two others from minor wounds. 

Police/deputies who were called to the scene have not released a formal statement concerning the exact cause of this wreck nor stated any bestowed citations or pending criminal charges for the parties involved. Updates will be added as our news team learns more.
